My name is Olha Matushenko, I`m soloist of the National Opera House of Ukraine.

Singing is my life, my soul and my heart... Like sun rising every morning, my desire to sing becomes my everyday inspiration. I’ll never stop singing because music is one of the greatest values gifted for humanity.

But there are two things in my life I love more than music, my family and my Ukraine. I will do all my best to make my family and my country be proud of me!

I hope that the Belvedere Singing Competition will help me to represent myself before many singer agents and representatives of opera and concert houses.

Hello Belvedere, my name is Mariam Battistelli and I'm an Italian Mezzosoprano .

I partecipate to the Belvedere singing competition to measure my level and cause it's very important listen to other singers. I'm sure that it's going to be a very exciting experience and I will improve in several aspects.

My most ardent desire is to sing cause it makes me happy and be able to move audiences. I also dream to sing on the biggest stage all over the world.

Hello Belvedere!

It is Carol Garcia, a spanish mezzosoprano from Barcelona, living between Paris and Uk. 

Im coming to Opera Bastille to take part in this competition, looking forward to have a great experience and take part in further rounds, and learn from everyone to keep on improving in this fabulous work. 

My most ardent desire is to live happy doing what I like most, which is making music having a beautiful career on stage, and make people take part of it.

Beginning as a pianist and harpist musician, it took me time to found my real direction and my voice.So after studying in Italy the vocal technique, I also obtained my First Prize in the National Conservatory of Nice. I decided to "earn my leaving"as an lyric artist but because I started singing very late, I begun with Chorus auditions (Paris Bastille,Capitole of Toulouse, Monte-Carlo, Nice and Marseille) and succeeded in all!

Of course my real dream was to sing as a soloist,going further into my professional life I understood that the Competitions where important to permit me to know my position in the Lyric World (Montserrat Caballe International Singing Competition-Semi-Finalist-2013).

My participation at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere singing competition is important to follow my believes, firstly as this competiton is known worldwide, also to perform for an International Jury and to successfully rich the final round!

As Elina Garanča, a famous mezzo-soprano singer, she has been threw this competition and started a career afterwards…

As her and others, I would like to have the opportunity to begin a soloist career!!

I am Bárbara Barradas, a lyric-coluratura Soprano from Portugal. 

I think Belvedere is one of the most important platforms for young singers. It is a excelent opportunity, and one of the best competitions that a young singer can do. I wish I can share my passion and gift with all the people in the world. I really would like to have the opportunity to sing everywhere and bring the art to every soul and heart. I can not imagine anything other than opera singing.

Hi everyone! My name is Víctor Jiménez Díaz and I am a 25 years old Spanish countertenor.

A great friend recommended me to take part on this contest because it can be a great opportunity for my career, to present my art to this prestigious international jury and also to present myself to the international audience. So here we are!

I hope to contribute with my work to this fascinating profession because music is one of the most important things in my life and I have the necessity to offer my singing to the great composers and make come alive his works for today’s public.
