Elena Laschenko

Thank you very much to Elena Laschenko, the owner of the newspaper Musical Klondike and Director of the Art Center Moscow, who supports the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition and it´s qualifying rounds in Moscow for many years.

Ekaterina Bakanova

After Bruno Michel, Artistic Director of the Théatre du Chatelet Paris, had heard the Russian Ekaterina Bakanova, he engaged the young soprano immediately. In 2011 Ekaterina Bakanova successfully took part in the renowned Viennese competition for young opera singers, the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition, and won the Prize of the Audience as well as the Special Prize of the Wiener Staatsoper and the Special Prize of the Chambre Professionelle des Directeurs d’Opera Paris, donated by the Jury. In the new production at the Théâtre du Châtelet Ekaterina Bakanova sings the role of Angelica of Haydn’s “Orlando Paladino”.
